These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Wobble, including the Wobble website, web application, software, features and related services (the "Service"). The seller and provider of the Service is Wobble, the legal business name of the entity trading as Wobble, a sole trader established in Ireland. Wobble is the contracting party and data controller for the Wobble reading app and Wobble Labs.

By creating an account or using Wobble you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Wobble is an assistive reading technology designed to help people, especially primary-school readers with dyslexia, who have difficulty accessing conventional printed or digital text. Features may include:

• converting material you provide (scanned pages, photos, PDFs, pasted text) into accessible formats;
• text-to-speech and audiobook-style reading with character voices, music and sound effects;
• paired and supported reading;
• text highlighting, a focus line and tap-a-word help;
• tricky-word practice and comprehension activities;
• reading progress, streaks and unlockables; and
• other accessibility and educational tools.

Wobble is an assistive technology product. It is not a replacement for a teacher, parent, educational professional, speech and language therapist, psychologist, doctor or other professional.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, or have a parent, guardian, teacher or school do so for you. Children under 13 should use Wobble with adult supervision, and that adult agrees to these Terms on their behalf.

Schools and organisations that provide accounts (for example through a pupil sign-up code) are responsible for ensuring those students are appropriately authorised to use the Service, and confirm they have authority to bind the organisation. School access lasts for the period the school's plan or pilot allows; when it ends, pupils keep their account and finished books but cannot start new activities.

Keep your login details confidential and don't knowingly let anyone else use your account. You are responsible for activity under it.

User-provided material. Wobble lets you provide material you already have lawful access to, by scanning, photographing, uploading or pasting it. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to provide that material and use it through the Service, and you must not use Wobble to process, reproduce, distribute or make available material where that would infringe anyone's rights.

Accessibility use. Where applicable law permits an accessible or modified copy of a copyrighted work, Wobble may provide technical functionality that facilitates that use. Nothing in these Terms gives you copyright rights beyond those you already have under the law.

One-user access. A book you provide is turned into an accessible version for your individual use, or the authorised use of the relevant student (including books a teacher assigns to their pupils). Wobble does not operate a public audiobook library or marketplace for user-uploaded books. Books in Wobble's free library come from public-domain sources. You must not:

• share uploaded books or generated copies with other users where that is not legally permitted;
• sell, rent, lend, redistribute or publish generated copies online;
• use Wobble to create an unauthorised commercial audiobook;
• use Wobble to circumvent technological protection measures or access restrictions; or
• systematically reproduce copyrighted works for purposes unrelated to accessibility.

Your responsibility. You decide whether you are legally entitled to scan, upload, process or use particular material. Wobble does not represent that every work may be processed in every jurisdiction or for every purpose. If unsure, get permission or legal advice first.

You keep ownership of content you provide. You grant Wobble only the limited permission needed to receive, store securely, process, convert into accessible formats, generate audio or other requested outputs from, display to you, and otherwise provide the Service with it. This does not transfer ownership to Wobble.

Wobble will not use your uploaded books in a publicly accessible catalogue, and unless stated in our Privacy Policy or required by law, will not use them to create advertising or commercial products unrelated to the Service.

Some features use optical character recognition, text processing, artificial intelligence and text-to-speech. Automated processing can make mistakes: text may be misrecognised, words mispronounced, passages omitted or altered, comprehension questions or definitions may contain errors, and systems may produce unexpected results. Always check anything important against the original page; don't rely on Wobble as the sole source where accuracy matters.

Wobble supports reading and accessibility but does not guarantee it will improve reading ability, comprehension or academic performance, produce a particular outcome, diagnose or treat dyslexia or any other condition, or give the same results for every user. Teachers, parents, guardians and professionals remain responsible for educational decisions about students.

Wobble offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans. Prices, allowances and billing terms are shown before purchase, including any applicable taxes. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically where disclosed at purchase, until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our refund window and how to claim it are in our refund policy: a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Plans may include book credits and monthly Studio, Studio+ and AI voice allowances. Words are charged only when new audio is generated; cached audio and replays are free. Included allowances reset each billing period; separately purchased packs stay available. We may adjust prices or allowances with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights about refunds, cancellation, digital services or defective services.

You must not use Wobble to:

• violate applicable law or infringe intellectual property rights;
• distribute copyrighted books without permission or another lawful basis;
• interfere with the operation or security of Wobble, or abuse or overload it;
• gain unauthorised access to another account;
• reverse engineer or circumvent security measures, plan limits or credits;
• scrape or extract Wobble's content or infrastructure with automated systems;
• resell access to Wobble without permission;
• upload malicious software;
• impersonate another person or organisation, or harass or defraud anyone; or
• do anything unlawful or reasonably likely to cause harm.

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in serious or repeated violations.

Audio, text, questions, summaries, covers and other outputs are generated or processed automatically and may contain errors. Wobble does not guarantee they will be complete, accurate, correctly pronounced, suitable for a particular educational purpose or identical to the source material.

The Wobble software, branding, interface, design, logos, voices, artwork, original content and underlying systems are owned by or licensed to Wobble. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Wobble for the duration of your plan. Except where the law or these Terms allow, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or reproduce Wobble or substantial parts of it.

Wobble depends on third-party providers, including cloud hosting, AI, text-to-speech, payment processing (Paddle) and authentication. Wobble is not responsible for failures caused solely by a third party or infrastructure outside its reasonable control. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We aim to keep Wobble running reliably, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, work on every device or browser, stay compatible with every third-party service, keep every generated file indefinitely, or remain unchanged. Outages can happen due to maintenance, updates, technical failures, connectivity, security incidents or events outside our control. Please check Wobble works on the day before relying on it for time-critical situations such as exams.

We may modify, replace or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects a paid service, we'll give any notice the law requires. Some features may be experimental or beta.

You can stop using Wobble at any time and cancel a plan through Paddle or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for serious or repeated breaches, security risk, infringement of others' rights, non-payment, legal requirement, or significant risk to Wobble, its users or third parties, with notice where reasonable. You keep any rights the law gives you. When access ends you can ask us to export or delete your data; we delete account data within 30 days of a deletion request.

Your use of Wobble is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information and user-provided content. Additional safeguards apply where we process information about children or students.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wobble is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, such as loss of data, opportunity, profits or business interruption, not directly caused by a breach we are legally responsible for. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of Wobble, your infringement of another person's intellectual property, or your material breach of these Terms. This doesn't require you to compensate Wobble for its own unlawful conduct or for liability that can't legally be transferred to you.

If you believe material has been processed through Wobble in a way that infringes your copyright or other rights, email team.wobble@outlook.ie with enough information for us to investigate. We may remove, restrict or investigate material where reasonably necessary; repeat infringers lose access. This is not an admission that infringement occurred.

If we don't immediately enforce a provision, we haven't waived our right to enforce it later. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is modified or disregarded only as far as necessary and the rest continues to apply. If we materially change these Terms we'll update the date at the top and tell account holders where the change is significant.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
