Wobble began during Cillian’s Transition Year work experience at Holy Family Senior National School in early 2026. He ran two assistive-technology sessions with Ms. E. McDonagh’s nine-student reading group and asked what they felt was missing.
the answer was simple
The students wanted something that could help them read through books and pages. That answer shaped the first prototype: start with the book in front of the pupil and make support available without taking the story away.
building with, not just for
Cillian returned a few months later with an early version. The pupils tried it, explained what felt confusing and pointed out needs he had missed. Wobble is still developed in that spirit: test ideas, listen carefully and improve the parts that matter in a real reading session.
